Rihanna calls for end to gun violence after cousin’s death

Rihanna posted an Instagram tribute last night to her cousin who was reportedly shot and killed in Barbados Tuesday night.

The singer did not name her cousin, but he has been identified as 21-year-old Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne. The Nation News reports a man killed Alleyne near his home and fled the scene afterward.

Rihanna captioned her Instagram post: “RIP cousin… can’t believe it was just last night that I held you in my arms! never thought that would be the last time I felt the warmth in your body!!! Love you always man!” She added the hashtag #EndGunViolence as well.
