How do you imagine your perfect engagement photoshoot? A nice sunset maybe? A lovely natural setting, maybe a forest or a beach?
This was what Josh Morris and Morgan Daye, a couple from Tennessee, had in mind when they decided to take their engagement photos in front of Bald River Falls. The falls are a gorgeous setting at any time of year, but the lovebirds were in for a magical surprise when they arrived there on foot in below freezing temperatures, (25°F or -3°C) to find the falls completely frozen over.
“We didn’t expect it to be frozen over,” photographer Kellie Elmore, who took the stunning photos, told People. “It was super cold, but when we got there we were just amazed how it looked in real life.” It was a case of everything coming together in perfect unison to make for an incredible, unique and memorable photoshoot. “I was freaking out a little on the inside, but we kept it cool for the camera,” the bride-to-be recalled. We are certainly glad that she did! The happy couple have planned their wedding for May this year.
