Trump’s shamrock pocket square was destined for meme status

President Donald Trump met with Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar today at the White House. With St. Patrick’s Day just two days away, the president decided to display a touch of green for the meeting.

Microgreens to be precise.

No one was frankly quite sure what it was if we are being honest. (It was reportedly a clump of shamrocks.)

But one thing is for sure: It was begging to be memed. Like with Sean Spicer and his infamous trip to the White House hedges.

Or Trump’s demand that his former secretary of state, Rex Tillerson, finish his salad.

Trump’s infamous lawn mowing child even got in the mix.

Then there’s this gem.

It’s definitely baby arugula.
